jack, i've beaten his schtick into the ground.
franz nicolay plays accordian & keyboards in world/inferno friendship society. i seem to recall him saying, backstage, that he grew up in new hampshire, moved to new york when he was 17.
check out his freak'n moustachio, doods!!!! handle-bar city!!!!
franz is in a "punky klezmer quartet" called guignol, & also gave me a CD for another band he's involved with called anti-social music.
i think he said that he's in four bands total. that is how he manages to eke out a living in the "music game." in brooklyn.
